Reinforced Medical Tubing

OSCO supply multi-layer reinforced medical tubing in sizes from 4Fr to 18Fr featuring thin-wall extrusion and fine wire braiding.

With Stainless steel wire as small as .050mm diameter routinely used, the unique processing technology applied by New England Catheter enables the bonding of multiple layers of dissimilar plastics such as FEP and PFA fluoropolymer inner liners with outer layers of urethane or nylon co-polymers.

As the core technology was developed within speciality manufacturing Osco / New England Catheter excel at designing and producing both creative and unique configurations.

Catheter Tubing

OSCO offers multi-layer reinforced medical tubing in sizes from 3 Fr to 24 Fr featuring thin-wall extrusion and fine wire braiding. Stainless steel wire as small as 0.05mm diameter and high strength fiber materials are routinely used in these tubes. The unique processing technologies enable multiple layers of dissimilar plastics such as FEP and PFA fluoropolymer liners to bond with outer layers of urethane or nylon co-polymers.

Medical Braiding

We offer multiple strand, fine wire stainless steel braids for flexible fiberoptic scopes. Capabilities include 8, 12, 16, 32 and 48 carrier braids using wire ranging from 0.05 mm to 0.25mm.

Flat Wire Braiding

Flat Wire Braids provide performance properties unequalled by other braid materials. Reinforced medical tubing with walls as thin as 0.20mm exhibit superior torque transmission and kink resistance.
