Litz Wire & More At The Future Powertrain Conference 2019
OSCO is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at the Future Powertrain Conference on 27th - 28th February 2019 on Stand 50 in the Manxman Suite. The Conference will be held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull covering a range of subjects including batteries, power electronics and electrified engines. During this two-day powertrain event, OSCO will be showcasing Litz Wire, Thermal Materials and Custom Cable Solutions in the connected exhibition. OSCO’s Team will be networking with industry and academic experts within the powertrain development field at the Networking Dinner Event to better understand new technology developments and opportunities within the market.
Litz Wire offers many benefits such as a reduction in AC Losses at high frequency windings, mitigation of skin effect and proximity effect as well as reducing the footprint of the final wire design. OSCO can achieve very high compaction rates in our formed rectangular, square or keystone profiles providing very high copper fill densities for increased performance. OSCO holds stock of a variety of Litz Wire designs perfect for prototype developments as well as designs moving into the production stage with strict lead time deadlines.
Thermal Materials have become increasingly more popular in battery technology as markets are moving towards EV / HEVs. OSCO’s Thermal Material portfolio incorporates low/mid-range materials up to high performing materials with 17W/m-K. With many material thickness variants in stock, and in-house cutting facilities readily available, material can be ordered, cut to drawing or die-cut within 24-48 hours for quick delivery.
