Flexible Cable

Flexible Cables play a vital role in today’s electrical and electronic industry.  Our specialty highly flexible cables are manufactured using ultra-fine wire stranding technology.

Our standard lead times for fully manufactured custom flexible cable are 6 weeks.

Flexible Interconnects can be manufactured from single end conductor strand sizes between 30 AWG to 52 AWG with the option of non-standard single end sizes available if required.  Our interconnects can be insulated with any insulation material however applications typically dictate the required material.  Copper is the most commonly used due to its high conductivity however if you require a specific conductor material such as magnet wire, copper alloy, oxygen free copper, aluminium copper clad or copper clad steel we are able to accommodate your needs.

Key Features of Flexible Cable

  • Maximum voltages of 50KVAC and 70KVDC.
  • Temperatures of core conductors from cryogenic to 450°C.  This can increase with specialty materials available.
  • Temperatures of insulation materials from cryogenic to 450°C.  This can be higher/lower with fiber or tape insulations.
  • Maximum OD is 50MCM or 170SQMM, dependent upon lengths, temperature and voltage requirements.
